It’s beginning to look a lot like tax season(again). The IRS has already begun accepting tax returns, as of January 29th. They begin with e-file returns first and then will process the paper returns. So, we recommend e-filing your returns. Some people will wait until the last minute to file, but we recommend calling your accountant now for a review of 2017. Gather your receipts, bank statements, and all other necessary paperwork for taxes and then set an appointment to meet with your tax adviser/accountant. The sooner you know if will be paying out or getting a refund on taxes this year, the more prepared you will be.
